Features:

  • 1.20m wide (+ 0.35 for the nest box) x 1.8m long x 1.30m high
  • The nest box has 2 compartments, with a lift up lid. Accessible from outside the cage and are completely water proof
  • Sloping Colour Steel roof - 1.7 metres in the front and 1.6 metres at the back
  • Sub floor timber is H4 ground treated 150x50
  • Floor is tanalised ply 12mm
  • Walls are 10mm board and batten style
  • Framing it tanalised H3 dressed timber
  • 1 full length perch
  • Easy for 2 people to move
  • Up to 10 hens will be very happy in here
Optional Run Area (+$200.00)
  • The run is 1.80m wide x 1.20m x 0.90m high
  • Detachable for easy transportation
  • There is a side entry door into the run

The Compact will house up to 10 chickens free ranging during the day and about 6 chickens if they are in the house most of the time.

The house has a main entry door and a small sliding door to let your chickens in and out. It has a ply floor. It is a very smart compact and functional Hen House.
